USB not working in VirtualBox using Ubuntu 12.4

Error

Can't add my USB modem in the USB Filter list in VirtualBox settings

No usb detected in the Guest Machine

VirtualBox version: 4.1.12

Solution

1- Add your user to the "vboxusers" groups
     sudo usermod -g vboxusers YOURUSER
2- Logout/Login again
